Postdoctoral Position in Experimental Nuclear Physics at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory

11 May 2020

We have an opening for a Experimental Nuclear Physics Postdoctoral Researcher to study the evolution of shell structure and collectivity in nuclei using radioactive ion beams facilities at TRIUMF, ANL, and MSU. Responsibility includes the maintenance of LLNL developed auxiliary charged-particle detection systems for the gamma-ray detector arrays such as GRETINA. You will also have opportunities to participate in the research of applied nuclear physics such as the study of neutron-induced reactions in actinides carried out at neutron facilities such as LANSCE. This position is in the Nuclear and Particle Physics group of the Nuclear and Chemical Sciences Division.
