The Supeheavy Element Physics group at the University of Mainz is looking to hire a post-doctoral researcher. The successful candidate will contribute in all activities of the group and will be expected to take a significant role in the experimental program on laser spectroscopy to be carried out at Mainz as well as at the SHIP recoil separator at GSI Darmstadt.

The DST/NRF funded South African Research Chair in the Subatomic Physics Department at iThemba LABS has two post-doctoral fellowships available, for which applicants are invited to apply. The research focus of the Post-Doctoral researchers will be on experimental studies of photon strength functions/nuclear level densities or on gamma-ray decay of resonances.
