Postdoctoral researcher - low-energy fusion experimentation for nuclear astrophysics
The successful candidate will substantially contribute to direct methods experimentation and detection system testing, with a focus on STELLA in Strasbourg and Orsay.
Other responsibilities/duties include, but are not limited to:
- participation to data analysis and interpretation,
contribution to establish nucleosynthesis simulations within the group and experiment proposals,
dissemination of results in articles, workshops or conferences,
contributing to the supervision of undergraduate/graduate students.

Research Field and Job Description:
Experimental particle physics, or experimental nuclear physics, or related areas.
The successful candidate will be required to engage in research, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, including the first-year physics, supervising graduate students, and contributing to management in the faculty and the department.
Proposed Start Date: On or as early as possible after April 1st, 2022.
Term: Permanent position (Tenured). The institute has mandatory retirement, requiring employees to retire at age 65.
Qualifications: Applicants must have Doctoral Degree, or Ph.D. in physics or closely related areas.
