CNRS tenure track position at IPHC, Strasbourg, France

19 February 2024

We are pleased to announced that a CNRS tenure track position is opened in our team (DNR nuclear data for reactors, https://iphc.cnrs.fr/en/research/subatomic-research-drs/dnr-nuclear-data-for-reactors/ ) at IPHC (https://iphc.cnrs.fr/en/laboratory/), Strasbourg, France.

This contract offers a dedicated financial environment and includes teaching activities in a higher education institution. This position is offered on a fixed-term contract (CDD) under public law for a period of 3 to 6 years. After evaluation of the scientific value and professional aptitude by a tenure commission, it will allow access to a tenured position in the CNRS Research Directors' corps. (https://carrieres.cnrs.fr/en/recrutement-hors-concours/#offres-postes-de-chaires)

The title of the position is : Nuclear Data: from fundamental nuclear physics to reactors and details of the position and procedure for applications can be found here : https://emploi.cnrs.fr/Offres/CPJ/CPJ-2024-014/Default.aspx?lang=EN

We are therefore looking for candidates with experience in experimental nuclear physics and a strong interest in applied problems (especially in nuclear energy). Knowledge of semiconductor-based detection systems, data analysis and instrument simulation is required (see position description). This position will come with a financial environment of 200 k€ to hire PhD student or post doc for example.

Applications are opened from February 14, 2024 to March 20, 2024, 11:59 pm Paris time.
