The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Louisiana State University invites candidates to apply for a tenure-track assistant or associate professor in the area of subatomic theory, starting August 2022. Candidates are expected to have an established record in the areas of subatomic theory, nuclear astrophysics, and/or fundamental symmetries, and to build a competitive research program that complements the strengths of our existing programs. These programs include large-scale modeling of nuclear structure, reactions, and electroweak processes, as well as research in experimental nuclear physics, astrophysics, high energy and neutrino physics.

The Department of Physics at the University of Notre Dame invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in theoretical nuclear physics.
The nuclear theory group at the University of Notre Dame currently includes three faculty members with broad interests in the areas of nuclear astrophysics and ab initio approaches to nuclear structure. Group members actively collaborate with local observers, experimentalists, and theorists and enjoy a close connection to the Notre Dame Nuclear Science Laboratory, an on-campus accelerator facility focused on fundamental and applied low energy nuclear physics (https://isnap.nd.edu).
