Postdoctoral position at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory

The Advanced Radio Emission Spectroscopy (ARES) team at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) is hiring a postdoc to work on gamma-ray spectroscopy, software development, detector modeling/simulation, and nuclear data measurements in support of operational and research activities at the lab. The hired postdoc will assist in maintaining and working with a variety of experimental instrumentation like HPGe arrays, NaI detectors, and a microcalorimeter. More details are available in the job posting. This position is on-site at PNNL in Richland, WA for an initial period of one year and renewable up to three years.

Postdoctoral position at MIT

The postdoctoral researcher will play a leading role in developing experimental techniques for the study of rare atoms and molecules. The selected candidate will conduct experiments in our lab at MIT, as well as at ISOLDE-CERN (Switzerland) and FRIB (USA). The candidate is expected to lead research on exotic molecules and make significant contributions to various experimental programs planned at these facilities. Additionally, the candidate will participate in experiments and the analysis of resulting data from these experimental campaigns.
